CAWI aims specifically to provide care and find homes for unwanted or surrendered animals, rehabilitate orphaned, sick or injured animals without owners, in addition to promoting responsible pet ownership and providing information to the general public on the welfare and prevention of cruelty to animals.
The CAWI OP is our main fundraiser. We are open Monday – Friday, 10am till 5pm. We sell furniture, clothes, household items, books, electrical goods… and just about any thing else you can think of.

Sarge

Thanks to Kellie, Jim and family – Sarge is not nearly so needy anymore. This tiny boy has a BIG personality but was afraid to be left alone. Slowly, slowly his new family is taking puppy steps to getting him used to short periods when Sarge can’t be with them.
Rupee

Rupee lost her elderly master but has gained a family! She is enjoying walks in the park, fetching ball, and strolls on the beach with a local family.
