The CAWI OP SHOP is our main fundraiser. The Op Shop is open Monday – Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. The Op Shop sells (and would welcome donations of) clothes, household items, books, crockery, bric-a-brac and some pet supplies.

Your gift is TAX DEDUCTIBLE

dination

Donations to CAWI translate into second chances for some of the homeless companion animals in our shire. Your generosity will enable us to cover the costs of:

  • extensive veterinary expenses (including, but not limited to, de-sexing, micro-chipping and vaccinating)
  • food, bedding, parasite prevention, collars, leads, ID tags, toys and other on-going canine maintenance costs
  • advertising of dogs for adoption on the radio and in newspapers
  • professional dog trainers where necessary, to bring out the best in our dogs (and their owners)

MOST importantly your contribution will add to our building fund for CAWI’s Animal Adoption Centre.

Elements of Byron, Byron Bay’s upscale resort, was the setting on 27/7/18 for the very generous donation to CAWI of 5 new dog kennels. The kennels were the creations from a team design competition held by 4impact, the respected IT consultancy, and will be used to house rescued dogs in our upcoming dog shelter. Stay tuned for details. Team SPOT won the design prize to much cheering and celebration, with treats for the dogs who had come along to join it.  A big thanks to Elements, 4impact and Corporate Challenge for making the connection.
